ABOUT AMBER


Amber is a 17 year old performer based in New York. Most recently Amber played Ida in Goldenrod, a Civil War Period short film and Laura Dandy in Dead Remains, a re-enactment short film.  Amber has participated in a number of student led film projects over the years including being a cast member of a local Kids TV News Show produced at Ithaca College (IthaKids).

Amber has been involved with Community Theatre for many years.  Some recent roles were Moth in Midsummer Nights Dream, Susan Cratchit in Scrooge The Musical, and Gollum in The Hobbit.  Her involvement in community theatre provided Amber with many talented mentors including Bill Daugherty and Holly Bisaha.

Additionally, Community Theatre gave Amber the opportunity to work with fellow actors with Developmental Disabilities (ARC of Onondaga County/The Little Mermaid), choreograph dance scenes for a school production (Once Upon A Mattress) and assist with costuming (Annie, Addams Family, etc).

Amber is an athlete with strong Soccer and Dance skills.  She is trained in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Musical Theatre, Tumbling and Cheer.  Since 2014 Amber has participated in the San Diego Comic Con Masquerade which is attended by over 4000 people each summer, performing as many of her favorite characters.  

Amber loves the process of telling people’s stories and thrives in the energy that happens when a crowd of people connect together.
